Namecheap $0.99 Domain Deal on Twitter

Namecheap is one of the best companies I know for registering domain names.

I have said so in the past and even though I have domains at other companies I’m happy to say I have most of my domains there now.

Today you are in for a great promotion but you have to be aware of one thing though…

This offer is super time sensitive.

It ends today July 16th at 12:59 PM Eastern Time so if you’re reading this, you have to act NOW!

September 20th Update: This offer already expired.

Domain Name $0.99 Promotion

First of all, let me explain you the standards on domain name costs.

Regular domain names (.com, .net, .org) are normally around $10 per year.

I’m going to teach you how to get a domain name for something like ONE dollar and no, I don’t mean a lousy .info domain name, I mean a .COM domain name (can be .net or .org too)!

I can’t get more detailed than what the title says: Namecheap $0.99 Domain Deal On Twitter

So let’s get on with it!

Steps To Obtain Your Coupon Code

Here are the quick steps to obtain your coupon code:

  1. If you already have a twitter account, you need to follow @namecheap
  2. You need to click on this link to get to the promotion page
  3. Grant access to Namecheap for your Twitter account (this is perfectly safe btw)
  4. Obtain your coupon code, copy and save it

Registering Your New Domain Name

I already wrote a detailed post here on: How To Get A New Domain Name Using Namecheap and you can watch the video down below as well.

Note: If you already know what domain name you want to register, skip to the 2:52 minute mark and don’t forget to apply your coupon code before actually paying!

Important: Do not try to “game” the system. This offer is valid only once and for one domain name. If you try to cheat you risk to lose your domain names and Namecheap is a great company to do business with so play your cards right.

I Already Have A Domain Name, Why Would I Need An Extra Domain Name?

This is one of those rare questions I just can’t answer for you but I can give you some reasons why I think you SHOULD get an extra domain name.

If you’re building an online business, you’re not only going to have one domain name but several domain names!

Normally every marketer has a marketing blog and something that is completely unrelated to marketing.

In my case I have (marketing blog) and I also own my site.

So if you have a review site, an origami site, a guitar playing site, whatever your niche is, you can brand your name right now with a first name + last name .com domain name.

If you started the other way, meaning you already have your first name + last name .com domain name, then you can aim for a niche site or a keyword-rich domain name.

Generic Domain Name Ideas

If you’re not into niche sites, you can take your own business one step further by providing services such as these generic names (these are just examples, come up with something that works for you!):

If these don’t sound appealing, then you can just get a domain name for your general support center, such as (I personally like the one with the “support” word but again, be creative!):

I hope you’re getting the idea, having the opportunity to get a brand new .com domain name for only one dollar is not something you see every day.

Super Important

You have to understand that this Namecheap offer was a promotion for retweeting the $0.99 deal on Twitter.

namecheap twitter offer

I retweeted that offer a few times and I already received my coupon code by following the steps above.

As I’m thinking you didn’t retweeted this offer, I have NO way to tell you if this offer will work for you or not.

I did a small test with an unrelated twitter account, followed the steps and I ended up with a new code so it might work for you even if you didn’t retweet the offer.

If it works, then great! And if it doesn’t, well that’s what you get for not paying attention to my tweets at

I don’t get any monetary retribution whatsoever out of this (except for the first link which is an affiliate link) and I have a million things to do right now since I’m leaving to Las Vegas next Friday.

I really hope you are able to see I’m doing this just to help YOU.

Take care peeps, have a great start of week and I hope this was good enough for you, cheers!

I wonder if they will do something link this again as it seems I have already missed the deadline. It’s always handy to have a spare domain name especially if its’ going so cheap.

Hope a great trip to Vegas. Are you going there for a vacation?

      Hey Sandy,

You’re not late on the deadline, you still have at least 6 to 7 hours right now and I’ve just been told the offer is working for anyone that follows these steps.

And yeah, I’m going to Las Vegas as a vacation, can’t wait actually haha

Thanks for stopping by Sandy! ;-)

    Hey Thanks Man!

Hope all is going well! Haven’t seen you around much lately. What have you been up to or focusing on making happen mate?

      Hey Karson, you’re welcome buddy.

Well I’ve been busy, I was working for a couple of local clients, dealing with a huge problem with a domain name (which I lost to somebody else), a little bit of trouble with the law (long story) and getting ready to leave to Las Vegas on next Friday.

I managed to review a few products here and on the warrior forum and I have given up on creating a product on this house, it’s just impossible to record in this environment (moving out as soon as I get back from Las Vegas though).

Great to see you here man, thanks for stopping by! ;-)

PS. You were doing a contest and creating a membership site, did you launch already?

Meh… The competition was a flop lol. The membership site is getting a major overhaul and I didn’t want to rush it so it’s still in the works. Look forward to launching it but unfortunately my plans of doing it as a WSO are on the bring of being no more as WF have some new rules that might keep it from happening. It will still be awesome when it does get going though, I’ll let you know when I do the soft launch and throw you a review copy.

Anyways, hope your trip goes well. As far as making a product goes just keep it simple bro. I think your office in the background looks awesome.

        1. Reply

          That’s great feedback bro!

What grabbed my attention is you mentioning some new WF rules, is this related to forcing the opt-in e-mail before getting to the actual product? I know there was a huge buzz about it the last time I was there.

Anyway, I look forward to seeing your completed project soon and thanks for the kind comments on my office and your offering man, really appreciate it.

Take care and have an awesome weekend Karson! ;-)

Nah, the new rules where about WordPress plugins and software under GPLv2 which is what WordPress is under. Basically WordPress lets all the code, images and everything on their directory be used as you please as long as you place a notice in your license that you modified a previous piece of work or code. The reason being they want people to be able to add new features, better functionality and whatever to existing “open source” themes and plugins. Well… I have about 5 pieces of software I was revamping and in short making it easy to use for list building… (I have very basic coding skills) but WF a few days ago said all themes and plugins must be built without using code from previous works. Has to be done completely from scratch which really kinda irks my taters as in all honestly they have code library’s and built in CSS styles that comprise about 70% of all the software code anyways. So, even if you reinvent the wheel and code it from scratch a ton of the code is going to be the same but it’s the WF and gotta play by the rules they make.

Anyways, I’m back to the drawing board as Dean’s coaching I’m in is “Operation WSO” so I gotta release a WSO. Kinda has me hitting a brick wall… I just found all this out yesterday and I don’t know what to do for a product now. Oh well, still look forward to having my membership site going and plan on making a great affiliate program too.

If you got any WSO ideas you wanna JV on give me a shout and perhaps it would be easier working together rather than alone. Always enjoy company cause it can get lonely being an IMer. Sure you know that.

            1. Ah yeah, I read all about that yesterday, that’s complete bullshit if you ask me.

Sure, code can be rewritten but there are classes that are NOT going to be rewritten because they are standards!

Is like telling someone that wants to create an iPhone app they can’t use any already written classes in their code, it’s just not how it works but I understand that many people were just adding one or two features to an already existing plugin and claiming it as their own but oh well, semantics and idiots (a very bad mix).

Hitting brick walls and being lonely as an IMer, I know a lot about that man, if the WSO or the main focus is not working anymore, just focus on the membership site instead.

I am very cautious about the WF and whenever I post there I end up building conflicts around those people lol I’m not sure I want to market to them but I’ll think about it.

Thanks for the awesome comment bro, just give me a few days to come back from Vegas and we can think of something!

    Hey Buddy,

Just thought that I would drop by and say Hi (sorry I’ve been neglecting you!!). Thanks for the heads-up on the domains, it’s a shame that I don’t really need one at the moment – even at $0.98!

    Enjoy Vegas!

Hey Rich, don’t worry man, I know you have been busy!

The domain offer is over now man but anyway thanks for stopping by and good luck fixing that JVZoo and PayPal issue! ;-)

Hi Sergio! My first time on your blog, looks intersting:)
About this offer, I have a good very short story: I did know about this offer, I did retweet their tweet, but on 16 july I forgotten about it and on 17th july I wanted to register a new domain and guess what! The offer expired :D
Good day and I`ll be back :)
    Sorry for my grammar;)

Hey Paul, welcome to the blog man!

And wow, such a bummer you forgot about the offer. I ended up paying about $1.16 in total for a new .com domain so it was totally worth it.

Take care and have a great day Paul, thanks for stopping by! ;-)

    Hey Sergio,
I’ve been seeing you pop up here and there in other training and on Facebook so I thought I would stop by. This is a great deal but I can’t follow them on twitter I have apparently maxed out on how many people I can follow so I don’t think I can even take advantage of this great price. I’m such a net geek I would find a domain to buy just to use the offer, lol.

    1. Reply

Hey Elisa, yeah I tend to be somewhat active on Facebook at times.

The Namecheap offer was only available for a day so it’s unfortunately gone already. I’m pretty sure I would definitely figure out a domain name to buy if it was offered at just $1 so we’re on the same bus haha!

Thanks for stopping by and hope you have a great weekend Elisa! ;-)
